Theater in Athens was a big thing. A lot of the people in the city would come and watch the plays. It was a huge tradition. People would really enjoy watching these. The origins of the theater of Athens did tie with politics and religion. Even thought these two things are different they were still able to tie them together in their plays. Sometimes the play would be about a political aspect and have something to do with politics. Also the play a lot of the time was about gods or it was worshiping the gods which showed religious origins.
